We run an integrated holistic programme of community development. We facilitate, organise and fund practical projects to overcome the following:
The Challenges
Education: very poor school buildings, a lack of basic equipment (such as desks and chairs), a limited curriculum, many children particularly girls do not attend school because of family or work commitment - child labour is a serious problem. More on education >>
Environment: filthy streets, unmade roads, no pavements, inappropriate streetscape, poor sanitation, unhealthy open sewers, deforestation, erosion of the historic hillsides, dropping water table, loss of flora and fauna, lack of green open spaces. More on environment >>
